Like many others, my family heard great things about Bozeman. Some friends who lived here encouraged us to drive here from the midwest and check it out. 22 years ago we fell in love with its character and western charm and knew it would be an amazing place to raise two boys amongst the rivers, hiking and ski trails, wide open spaces, and star filled skies. 

I had worked for years in NYC in travel publishing and marketing but yearned for a way to spend more quality time with my kids. Bozeman was the stunning answer. First, we purchased and restored a 1905 farmhouse style home in the downtown historic area of Bozeman. Piece by piece we brought it back to its original charm with some updated touches and it’s where I still live today.

I continued to do historic restoration flips while also working in the nonprofit world. Nonprofit fundraising and event planning jobs in Switzerland and then England called my family away for nine years. During that time we hired property managers to take care of our home. Sadly, it always felt that the renter received better care than we did. There were always expensive maintenance issues and bad tenants to deal with.

I learned how important it is to balance the owners needs of quality care of their investment property with those of making the tenant happy, comfortable, safe, and accountable. 

I moved back to Bozeman full time 8 years ago and I knew that I wanted a career that gave me the flexibility to visit my children, who were doing great things in far reaches of the world. One graduated med school in London and is currently a Doctor in England. The other attended the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and is a 1st Lieutenant in the Marines on the east coast.
